Pinless products give you a new way to attach. Our version of the classic dry erase film is a high quality synthetic laminate backed with ShearGrip® dry adhesive. The board itself is 5.3 mil thick to provide good rigidity and durability, and has a special surface treatment for excellent write-on, wipe-off performance*. For professionals, the film can be primed to accept inks for logos or writing. The ShearGrip® dry adhesive backing makes it easy to install without bubbles, residue, or damage, and it works well on most surfaces**.

* Dry erase marker not provided. Before use, it is recommended to test your dry erase marker to ensure it is erasable. Overall, this is a good quality dry erase film and it should be cleaned daily to avoid ghosting and promote a long life. Use an approved dry erase spray cleaner or cleaning wipe. In our testing, we were able to easily wipe off after a few days, and even after several weeks, a cleaning wipe completely removed the dry erase marker. It isn’t recommended, but we also found Sharpie was removable after 3 months.

**ShearGrip™ dry adhesive works almost anywhere. It is best to avoid surfaces with extreme roughness (if it will scratch your hand, it will damage the fibers and film), and applying to areas with lots of dirt, grime, or moisture will deteriorate performance. If the film isn’t adhering well, the surface may need to be cleaned. It is best to avoid freshly painted walls, because they take a long time to finish drying and reacting. If you purchase and a surface is giving you a problem, send us a message (megan@thepinless.com) with details.
