Last Wednesday, we at The Pinless got to participate in Bounce Innovation Hub’s Open House! Visitors from Akron and the surrounding communities got to check out the Bounce building and talk with the building’s tenants.
Summer is here! To let your kiddos celebrate this season of warmth and sunshine, why not let them put up some summertime decorations around the house? Tomorrow is the 4th of July, which means that you’re probably hosting or attending a cookout! If you’re a procrastinator like myself, you’re likely in need of some last minute decorating ideas. Luckily, I have a couple of decoration hacks that can be applied to future holidays, too!
I’ve never been one to make collages of any kind, because I really hate glue. I never chose to make a collage for any school projects, and I definitely didn’t decide to make one just for the fun of it. Whether you use liquid glue or a glue stick, the pictures inevitably end up wrinkled and stuck together in ways that they aren’t supposed to be.
Mood boards can be a great visualization tool. Whether you’re redecorating your house, planning an event, or reinventing your wardrobe, making a mood board will help you craft the exact look and feel that you want to achieve. However, traditional methods for making a mood board can be difficult.
If you’re anything like me, you probably have a ton of photos of yourself, your family, and your friends. Just looking at the last four years, I have photos from prom, graduation, graduation parties, multiple seasons of cross country and track, my sister’s prom and graduation, a bridal shower, a wedding, various holidays, and the dozens of instances that I just casually spent time with friends and family. The camera that I got for Christmas already has over 2,000 photos on it, and that isn’t taking into account all of the photos I’ve taken on my phone. The point is, I have a lot of photos. You probably do, too.
